TechXpress is a fast-growing Australian technology distributor specialising in education and government markets. Our in-house brand, SchoolTech, delivers purpose-built charging solutions, headphones, cases, and classroom technology peripherals designed specifically for schools.
We work with leading education resellers, government buyers, and schools across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Channel to lead reseller growth, strengthen partner relationships, and help scale the SchoolTech brand nationally.
About the Role
This is a senior channel sales role focused on building and managing relationships across the education reseller market.
You will work closely with key reseller partners, MSPs, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and expand SchoolTech's presence across the K-12 and education sectors.
The role is Sydney-based and includes interstate travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national channel sales strategy for SchoolTech
- Build strong relationships with education resellers, MSPs, retailers, and procurement partners
- Identify and grow new reseller opportunities across Australia
- Manage and support existing channel partners to drive long-term growth
- Work with marketing and operations teams on promotions, launches, and partner initiatives
- Represent SchoolTech at trade shows, conferences, and education events
- Conduct product demonstrations and reseller training sessions
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Work closely with leadership on strategic growth opportunities and market expansion
What We're Looking For
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- 3+ years of channel sales experience within IT, education technology, or hardware distribution
- Strong existing relationships within the Australian education reseller market
- Proven ability to grow reseller partnerships and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Highly organised with strong commercial awareness
- Experience working with IT hardware, charging solutions, peripherals, or education technology products
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Sydney-based preferred
- Australian permanent resident or citizen work rights required
- Ability to travel domestically and sometimes internationally
