General Manager

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• Proven experience leading a full manufacturing site with end-to-end operational accountability

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience within aerospace, defense, energetics, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO, or comparable regulated quality systems

The successful candidate will lead a complex, high-mix, regulated manufacturing operation through operational transformation and sustained growth. This executive leader will serve as the de facto site leader with full accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, people development, and operational performance. The role requires a highly strategic yet hands-on leader capable of building a high-performance culture, driving operational excellence, and implementing structured lean operating systems to support scalability, customer commitments, and long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of site operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
• Establish and drive a Lean operating system utilizing daily management, visual management, standard work, and structured problem solving.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team focused on accountability, engagement, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
• Drive improvements in throughput, schedule attainment, first-pass yield, lead time reduction, and operational scalability.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support growth objectives and customer commitments.
• Deliver sustainable productivity, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives while strengthening safety and quality performance.
