Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician located in Midland, MI. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing office equipment such as copiers, printers, and fax machines. Additional tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and professional service. The Field Service Technician will also collaborate with team members and maintain detailed service records.
Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing office equipment such as copiers, printers, and fax machines
- Proficiency in basic networking, configuring devices, and understanding connectivity issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently
- Previous experience in field service or office equipment maintenance is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned service area
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or specialized training in office equipment repair are highly desirable
