Job Description

Senior Product Manager – AI-Powered Workflow Product

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 base salary (depending on experience and location), plus competitive benefits package

Type: Full-time

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI-powered inspection and detection product. This role focuses on transforming advanced AI capabilities into intuitive, customer-facing workflows that deliver exceptional usability, accuracy, and value.

The primary goal is to professionalize product management practices by bridging raw technology with real-world customer needs. You will serve as the central connector between engineering, internal operations (treating our in-house team as key "customers"), sales, and leadership. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented position in a fast-paced environment with significant autonomy and opportunity to shape a scalable B2B SaaS offering.

Key focus: Optimizing complex workflows for enterprise users, with emphasis on usability and customer outcomes. While familiarity with AI is a plus, deep AI/ML expertise is not required—this is about building great software products, not building models.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for the AI-powered product, prioritizing workflow improvements and usability enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for product documentation (PRDs, specs, user stories) to provide clear direction to engineering teams and reduce ambiguity.
  • Conduct deep customer discovery using frameworks like Jobs to be Done (JTBD) to understand how customers (municipalities, contractors, inspectors) interact with data and tools.
  • Optimize internal "human-in-the-loop" processes by treating internal inspection teams as primary users, iterating rapidly to refine the product before external release.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional alignment between sales (market demands), engineering (technical feasibility and delivery), and leadership (strategic priorities).
  • Drive data-informed decisions, make reasoned trade-offs on features and non-functional requirements, and push back decisively when needed to protect product integrity.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in usability, throughput, and customer satisfaction within the first 90 days, including standardized documentation, workflow mapping, and a vetted 6-month roadmap.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in Product Management, with a strong track record in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven expertise in building and optimizing complex, enterprise-grade workflows.
  • Exceptional product discovery skills: conducting user interviews, translating pain points and feedback into clear customer outcomes and actionable requirements.
  • Technical depth sufficient to collaborate closely with engineering—understanding APIs, data flows, trade-offs in feasibility/effort, and non-functional requirements; comfort being data-driven and analytical.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity: highly autonomous, proactive, with strong hustle and the capacity to bring structure and clarity to uncertain situations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable influencing across functions, saying "no" when necessary, and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles, from ideation through launch and iteration.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI-powered products (e.g., understanding probabilistic vs. deterministic outputs, managing expectations around model performance).
  • Experience in industries involving field operations, inspections, or data-heavy workflows.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including:

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Flexible PTO and paid holidays
  • Remote-friendly work environment with flexible scheduling
  • Professional development stipend for conferences, courses, or tools
  • Equity / stock options (depending on role level and company stage)
  • Wellness programs and support for work-life balance

If you're a builder who excels at turning complex technology into intuitive, customer-loved software and thrive in a dynamic, high-impact environment, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief note on a workflow product you've improved or built.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our team.
