In addition to understanding the current business landscape, this role is accountable for creating and evangelizing a future-state vision. This includes developing qualitative and quantitative justification to support that vision, securing the necessary resources, and seeing initiatives through to completion.
We are seeking a product manager who is curious, data-driven, and passionate about solving complex problems. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguity, advocates for the customer, and collaborates effectively across technical and non-technical teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- Develop, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap and backlog aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Monitor product performance, KPIs, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with product owners across business domains to align on overall business goals, reduce dependencies, and mitigate risk.
- Coordinate with impacted teams to ensure readiness for new features, including process changes, training, and change management across stores, distribution centers, and fulfillment centers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including product and solution vendors, to influence and align roadmaps.
- Define success metrics and KPIs to measure product impact.
- Analyze data to test, measure, iterate, and optimize outcomes.
- Own and continuously improve the business and customer experience across one or more products or platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, requirements, and use cases.
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Lead day-to-day product delivery in partnership with engineering, design, analytics, and business teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve user flows, features, and capabilities through experimentation and iterative improvement.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs; proactively remove roadblocks to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure backend capabilities support front-end experiences and overall product goals.
- Leverage customer research, insights, testing, and data analysis to inform product decisions.
- Stay current on trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to evolve product strategy.
- Advocate for the customer while balancing business value, technical feasibility, and operational constraints.
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience working on product management, with demonstrated ownership of product backlogs and delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused experiences across web, mobile, or platform products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using data and insights (quantitative and qualitative) to inform product vision and decision-making.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills across functional boundaries.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product development practices.
- Experience in the automotive or specialty retail industry preferred
