Food & Beverage Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team here at the Luxurious 5 Star Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Food and Beverage Manager who is passionate about excellent customer service, creating exceptional guest experience and leading and motivating a team.

The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day running of the food and beverage department, manage and motivate the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining our 5 Star Standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and strong hospitality experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to)

• To oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Department
• To Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service standards
• To Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner in accordance with HACCP
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting for the F&B Department
• Monitor revenue and oversee Labour costs, and stock levels to maximise profitability within your department.
• Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and handle escalated complaints professionally
• Maintain strong relationships with regular guests and corporate clients
• Develop, train and coach your team to the standards required of a five star hotel.

The Suitable Candidate For This Role

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage Management , Department Management or a Senior Hospitality Role is essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a hands-on approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and reliable with a positive can do attitude
• Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Strong communicator with fluency in the English language.
