Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Operation Manager to lead large-scale HVDC infrastructure projects across Germany. This role is ideal for a senior project professional with strong EPC experience, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate complex cross-functional operations in an international environment.

📍 Location• Primarily based in Düsseldorf• Frequent travel across Germany required, especially between Emden and Düsseldorf construction sites

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete infrastructure projects in line with customer requirements, timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations

• Define project stages, objectives, KPIs, and cost structures while maintaining and updating project plans• Coordinate cross-functional project activities throughout the full project lifecycle

• Implement clear communication processes and project governance policies

• Monitor project performance, quality management, health & safety compliance, and environmental standards

• Liaise with clients, contractors, converter station partners, and parallel project teams to ensure alignment and synergies

• Work closely with commercial management to oversee financial and contractual matters

• Prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership

✅ Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field• 10+ years of project management experience within EPC environments, ideally in regulated infrastructure or long-term projects

• Strong background in civil works and large-scale energy or industrial projects

• Experience leading international and cross-functional teams

• Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA preferred

• Strong understanding of technical, commercial, and legal project aspects

• Fluent English communication skills

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly organized mindset

• Willingness to travel frequently within Germany
