Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations for Eduro’s skilled nursing facilities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial records, and providing timely and insightful financial reporting. This position requires an understanding of GAAP accounting specific to the healthcare industry, including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial and Private Insurance, federal and state reimbursement programs, and governmental regulations. The ideal candidate has prior accounts payable experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

- Hybrid office schedule: Monday & Tuesday in office, Wednesday – Friday remote
- Manages multiple accounting functions and operations such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, expenses, assets and liabilities.
- Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring proper coding and classification of all transactions as well as performing accurate reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Collaborate with AR Department to make sure proper revenue is recorded in the period related to various paying residents.
- Implement accounting policies and procedures that adhere to all financial regulations and comply with GAAP.
- Oversee monthly and annual accounting close processes and reporting.
- Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to the Administrator and leadership team.
- Additional accounting responsibilities as assigned by the Controller which include but are not limited to Self-Insurance, Allowance for Bad Debt, Quality Incentive Payment Programs, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Relationships, Management Fees, Shared Employees, Operating Leases, Financial Reports Generation, etc.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Cost reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
- 6 years or more of related experience required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct, Point Click Care, and Microsoft Office Suite.
