We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer to lead SQL Server performance, reporting optimization, and data platform modernization.
What You’ll Do
- Optimize and monitor SQL Server performance across production systems
- Resolve bottlenecks (queries, blocking, deadlocks, IO, memory)
- Design and maintain indexing, stored procedures, views, and functions
- Refactor legacy SQL and enforce coding/performance standards
- Support reporting workloads and Power BI performance
- Partner with analytics and application teams on data delivery
- Contribute to modern data architecture (hybrid SQL Server / Microsoft Fabric)
- Troubleshoot production issues and document best practices
What You Bring
- 8+ years of SQL Server (or equivalent RDBMS) experience
- Expert-level query optimization and execution plan analysis
- Strong indexing and performance tuning background
- Experience supporting reporting and data pipelines
