Sashco is a 90-years-young family owned, fast paced, manufacturer of caulking, stains, and sealants for the housing industry. We recently moved to a brand new 2.5X larger facility with a state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing plant in Thornton (Denver) Colorado.  We are skilled at marketing and driven by innovation.   Key Functions

• Participate on the Leadership Team making company-wide decisions and contributing to long and short ranges plans.
• Develop the strategic plan for the R&D team.
• Lead, inspire, and manage the R&D team.
• Identify new opportunities for growth in technology and channels
• Measure performance and productivity
• Provide technical direction and oversight.
• Support Sales, Marketing, Production, and Customer Service
• Increase analytical tools (DOE, AI, etc)
• Leverage the operational budget as an investment aligned with the company plan.

Qualifications

We want to hear from you if you have/are:

• Served as unit or company leader of R&D
• Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Chemistry or related field
• Ability to provide technical help to R&D staff
• 10+ years of progressive career growth including management of teams.
• Experience functioning on top leadership teams.
• Creativity and valuable networking contacts.
