Now, we’re looking for an Account Manager – Marketing to lead day‑to‑day delivery across key client accounts, steer workflow across a multidisciplinary team, and bring calm, confident client leadership to every brief.
This person enjoys variety and responsibility, and they’re comfortable guiding leaders through complex decisions – helping them clarify their goals, shape their narratives and choose the best path to achieve meaningful outcomes.

About the role
As an Account Manager at Bespoken, you’ll be the primary day‑to‑day lead for a portfolio of marketing clients. You’ll translate strategic objectives into clear, practical plans and manage delivery across campaigns, content, digital and integrated programs.
This is a hands‑on role for someone with strong judgement, commercial awareness and a genuine love of the marketing mix — from briefing and creative development through to delivery and reporting.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and specialist teams across marketing, communications and engagement, ensuring work is delivered on brief, on budget and to a high standard.
You’ll work with everyone from innovative scale‑ups to established industry leaders, helping them clarify their messages, strengthen their reputation and connect with the right audiences.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Brisbane CBD office (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH).
What you’ll be doing
As Account Manager – Marketing, your responsibilities will include:
· Acting as the lead day‑to‑day contact for marketing clients
· Building trusted, long‑term client relationships through clear communication and strong strategic thinking
· Translating client objectives into well‑considered briefs for internal teams and external suppliers
· Managing multiple projects concurrently across campaigns, branding, content and digital delivery
· Coordinating workflow across marketing, social media and communications teams
· Leading internal reviews to ensure work is strategically sound and execution‑ready
· Managing scopes, timelines, budgets and invoicing with confidence and care
· Providing input into creative direction, including copywriting, design and content strategy
· Supporting senior leadership with pitches, proposals and new business initiatives.
About you
You’re commercially minded, organised and calm under pressure. You enjoy variety and responsibility, and you’re comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. You will bring:
· 6+ years’ experience in an agency or in-house marketing role
· Strong understanding of integrated marketing, including brand, content, digital and campaign delivery
· Proven experience managing marketing accounts and senior client relationships
· Confidence leading client meetings, presentations and discussions
· Strong project and workflow management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail across briefing, proofing and quality control
· Sound commercial awareness, including scope and budget management
· A collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset and good creative judgment
· A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
