Finance Transformation Lead

EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international organization in the search for a Finance Transformation Lead to support the ongoing optimization of its European Finance function.

This role combines operational finance leadership with transformation and process improvement responsibilities.

The successful candidate will drive improvements across finance processes, systems, controls, and reporting, while overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities within a multi-entity environment.

This opportunity would suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys driving operational improvements, leading change initiatives, and delivering finance projects within an international environment.

The ability to speak fluent Dutch is required.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Transformation Lead:

• Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

• Optimize end-to-end finance processes, including Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay

• Drive automation, systems enhancements and ERP-related projects

• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and reporting processes

• Improve finance data quality, operational efficiency, and working capital performance

• Oversee day-to-day AP and AR activities, supporting accurate and timely month-end close

• Enhance banking, payment, and reconciliation processes

• Lead finance projects from planning through implementation

• Coach and develop finance team members

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

• Strong experience across finance operations, including AP, AR, and general accounting

• Proven people management experience

• Background in finance transformation, process improvement, and automation

• Experience with ERP systems and finance technologies

• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on, proactive, and improvement-focused mindset

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Fluent Dutch and English are required
