We are searching for a talented professional to write a laptop/equipment recovery, inventory and reuse policy and then physically manage and perform the recovery of outstanding equipment. This person will ideally be able to help with an initial inventory and then validate the process is working.
The estimated duration of this assignment is 90 days.
The ITSM Service Improvement Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT asset and equipment management processes across the company, leveraging Freshworks as the core platform for workflow management, asset tracking, and service process automation. This role is responsible for establishing scalable processes for equipment inventory management, onboarding forecasting, asset lifecycle governance, and the recovery, return, and reuse of equipment from offboarded employees and consultants.
The role will work closely with IT, HR, Procurement, and operational teams to ensure accurate tracking of equipment, effective recovery of assets during offboarding, and optimization of equipment reuse versus retirement decisions based on asset condition and useful life. The successful candidate will drive process standardization within Freshworks, improve operational efficiency, reduce asset loss, and support sustainable IT asset management practices across the organization.
