JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Product Industrial Designer will work on projects ranging from consumer lifestyle products to technology driven medical products as part of a world class design and innovation team. This role is a key player managing projects and helping to lead and mentor other designers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translates requirements, needs and insights into compelling user experiences
• Contribute design knowledge and experience to product development projects
• Lead and participate in project teams form concept generation, refinement and detailing
• Give presentation and lead clients in key project milestones
• Management and regular reporting of team activities (formal program management)
• Recommends action plans for the continued professional growth and training of the designers
• Assists with the establishment and maintenance of design department standards that ensure design excellence
• Conceptualize ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
• Manage research and design project budgets
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
