A long-standing U.S. manufacturer in the roofing industry recognized for its high-quality products, innovative technology, and strong commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and community values is looking for a Key Account Manager. They are seeking a candidate with strong business-to-business experience who can think innovatively and remain resilient in the face of challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pricing, program administration, and overall account coordination for assigned customers, including rebates, incentives, marketing allowances, and related services
  • Resolve account issues across billing and operations, including invoices, credit memos, returns (RMA), deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and warranty documentation
  • Partner with Technical and Warranty teams to inspect, document, and process product warranty claims
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and local industry organizations through regular engagement, trade shows, and association involvement
  • Support distributor success by maintaining showroom displays with current product literature and samples
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Execute targeted sales strategies focused on key installers to increase product adoption and maximize pull-through sales
  • Act as subject matter expert for Pro Contractor Program, providing field support, training, and contractor recruitment
  • Deliver product training to customers and partners, including presentations on product features, benefits, and proper installation techniques
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with customers across all channels (phone, email, text)
  • Utilize Salesforce to track customer activity, manage pipeline, log interactions, and support forecasting and planning efforts
  • Plan and optimize travel to ensure efficient territory coverage and cost management
  • Complete regular reporting, including monthly activity and market updates, weekly expense reports, call planning, mileage tracking, forecasting, and competitor insights
  • Provide SAP-related support and assist with additional business operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays away from home

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 + quarterly bonus
