Logistics Specialist

Location: Onsite in Beaverton, OR

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 DOE + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO + Holidays, 401K with match)


Position Overview

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to support day-to-day logistics operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for managing order flow, coordinating with vendors and clients, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery through third-party logistics partners.


The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily order processing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to maintain efficient shipping flow
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors and clients regarding order status, shipment updates, and inquiries
  • Monitor shipments and proactively address delays, discrepancies, and service issues
  • Track, investigate, and resolve lost or damaged shipments, including filing and managing carrier claims
  • Ensure compliance with shipping requirements, routing guides, and service-level expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, purchasing, customer service) to support smooth logistics operations
  • Maintain accurate records, shipping documentation, and system updates related to orders and deliveries
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce errors


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, order management, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or similar is preferred
