Senior Full Stack Developer IL (Frontend-Oriented)

Bagira is a leader in training and simulation systems, delivering mission-critical solutions used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers across 40+ sites worldwide.

We are building cloud-based applications and are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend-Oriented) to lead frontend architecture and user-facing experiences while also contributing across the stack with .NET services and APIs.

In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of features, drive technical decisions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable solutions from development through production support.

This is a full-time position, based at our headquarters in Modi'in.

What will you do?

• Own frontend architecture and take end-to-end ownership of user-facing features: from design and implementation to deployment and production support
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to build high-quality, accessible, and intuitive user experiences
• Lead frontend architecture and standards: component patterns, state management, routing, form strategy, error handling, and observability
• Build modern web applications using modern frontend technologies, with strong focus on performance, usability, accessibility, and clean architecture
• Drive API-first collaboration: define contracts, versioning, validation, and resilient client behaviour
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams in a dynamic matrix environment
• Improve engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable fixes
• Participate in technical planning, estimations, and architecture discussions while influencing engineering and product decisions

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant ownership of frontend architecture and delivery in modern web applications- Must
• Strong expertise with modern Frontend technologies and TypeScript, including component design, state management, routing, forms, and performance optimization- Must
• Solid frontend engineering practices: unit/integration testing, end-to-end testing, accessibility, responsive design, and code quality tooling (linting/formatting)- Must
• Working proficiency in backend development with .NET: building and consuming REST APIs, authentication/authorization (e.g., JWT/OAuth), integrations, and background processing concepts- Must
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience with frontend build and runtime performance: bundlers (e.g., Webpack/Vite), code splitting, caching strategies, and profiling/debugging in the browser
• Experience with cloud application development and operations (AWS, Azure), including deploying and operating services and understanding frontend hosting/CDN fundamentals.
• Experience with relational and non-rational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), data modelling, and query basics to debug end-to-end flows
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and modern development workflow
• Strong debugging skills across UI, APIs, and infrastructure layers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment
