We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking AI Developer to lead and execute the design of Agentic AI applications that improve operational workflows within the mortgage lifecycle. Responsibilities

Architect and build Agentic AI systems capable of completing complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human oversight. Design intelligent workflows and memory-augmented agents to handle tasks such as document parsing, task routing, borrower communication, and compliance reviews. Work closely with product and operations teams to understand bottlenecks in the mortgage process and develop AI-powered solutions. Integrate AI agents into existing tech stacks, especially Encompass LO Connect, leveraging UI-based automations, browser scripting, or platform-native extensions where APIs are unavailable. Continuously refine AI systems with feedback loops, prompt engineering, task planning algorithms, and human-in-the-loop models. Stay current with developments in LLMs, tool use, and cognitive architecture trends (LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.). Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Required

Qualifications

3+ years experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on AI/LLM-based systems. Strong proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or other modern programming languages. Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agentic libraries. Understanding of context management, task planning, tool calling, and vector databases. Experience building or deploying AI agents with real-world utility (ideally in back-office or workflow automation contexts). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly prototype in ambiguous settings. Preferred

Qualifications

Experience working with Encompass, either through LO Connect, SmartClient scripting, or administrative modules. Knowledge of mortgage operations, disclosures, or back-office processing. Familiarity with RPA tools such as PowerAutomate, AutoHotKey, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Puppeteer for building UI-based automations. Exposure to NLP, document classification, or OCR models used in loan document review. Experience deploying AI solutions into production or integrating with enterprise environments.
