Our client, a nationally recognized P&C Insurance Carrier, is seeking an Executive Inland Marine Underwriting Specialist to underwrite a diversified book of inland marine business, partnering with agents, brokers, risk engineers and claims to evaluate complex, high-value placements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in inland marine underwriting, with a background in E&S insurance being a plus
- Strong territory management skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency in underwriting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Excellent problem solving & decision-making skills
