Business Process Engineer

**This position is contingent upon award of contract** SOSi is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. Essential Job Duties: Develop and refine business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination. Identify areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices. Submit a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report, detailing process improvements, automation strategies, and workflow enhancements. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, OR Five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management. Knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes. Proficient in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation. Strong analytical and reporting skills are required to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking. Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting. Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation is required. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Lean Six Certification, PMP Certification, KM Certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), CPA, or DAWIA Level II in Financial Management.
