Tax Preparer - ProSeries Experience Required

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Tax Preparer with prior experience preparing personal tax returns using ProSeries. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of current tax laws, demonstrates attention to detail, and can work independently during busy tax seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual (Form 1040) tax returns using ProSeries.
• Review client financial documents (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
• Identify eligible deductions and credits to maximize client returns.
• Verify accuracy of completed returns prior to submission.
• Communicate professionally with clients to obtain missing information and clarify details

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience preparing personal tax returns in ProSeries.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple returns.
• High level of responsibility and confidentiality when handling financial data.
