US Regulatory Manager

Unchained offers a suite of bitcoin financial services and is seeking a US Regulatory Manager to maintain compliance with U.S. financial services laws and regulations. The role requires 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and a strong working knowledge of U.S. financial services regulations.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal/compliance, risk management, or advisory roles within financial services, fintech, payments, lending, or virtual currency businesses Experience managing or supporting state-licensed lending and/or money transmission programs Strong working knowledge of U.S. financial services regulations, including state lending and money transmission requirements, as well as federal regulations such as Reg E, UDAAP, ECOA, TILA, and E-Sign Act BSA/AML concepts relevant to money transmission and virtual currency activities Experience implementing internal controls, compliance monitoring and testing, reporting frameworks, and audit/examination readiness programs Proven ability to work effectively across Product, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver practical, business-aligned compliance solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into operational controls and actionable guidance Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to balance regulatory expectations with business objectives Self-driven with strong organizational and project management skills
