Accounting Production Manager (008-00897)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the production function, taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of accounting and bookkeeping work. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to develop and improve team capability.

Requirements

8+ years of accounting experience, including exposure to review work, team mentoring, and production or client service environments. Strong technical accounting and taxation capability, with the ability to deliver work to a near-final review standard. Experience preparing Individual Income Tax Returns (including investment income), Income Tax Variations, Tax Planning, and FBT returns. Strong working knowledge of Australian tax legislation, including Division 7A, deductions, payroll tax, WorkCover, Stamp Duty, FBT, depreciation rules, SGC obligations, franking credits, trust elections, and TPAR requirements. Experience preparing and/or reviewing Activity Statements, including GST, PAYGW, PAYGI, WET, FTC, FBT instalments, and GST on imports. Strong payroll expertise covering terminations, redundancies, salary packaging (including novated leases), allowances, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and leave entitlements. Understanding of Portable Long Service Leave obligations. Experience working with Xero as the primary accounting platform and other accounting software systems.
