Mercor is seeking a Clinical Documentation Expert to work as a contractor, creating documentation tasks and rubrics, and developing scenarios for clinical documentation. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a medical scribe, CDI specialist, or similar role, with expertise in SOAP or H&P authoring, CDI query practice, and EHR documentation workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years as a medical scribe, CDI specialist, RN, NP, PA, or similar documentation-heavy role.
- Expertise in SOAP or H&P authoring, CDI query practice, discharge summary construction, EHR documentation workflows (Epic, Cerner).
- Comfortable with clinical artifacts: SOAP notes, H&Ps, discharge summaries, CDI queries.
- Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
