Assistant Controller

Zip is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team to own corporate accounting, technical accounting, and financial reporting while transforming how their accounting function operates by leveraging AI. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone to build, elevate, and modernize a high-performing accounting organization in a dynamic, fast-scaling environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in high-growth environments Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, with strong judgment in complex accounting areas Experience using AI tools; whether for research, reporting, or workflow automation Exceptional ability to interact, communicate, and present complex revenue topics clearly to key cross-functional teams and executive leadership
