- Setting: Hospital environment for Med Surg patient care
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for Med/Surg patients across applicable age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and safe patient transitions
- Administer medications and monitor responses; manage IV therapy, patient education, and pain control as ordered
- Monitor patient status, document accurately in the electronic health record, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to emergencies
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards; educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge planning
- Support nursing leadership and assist with care coordination and bed management as needed on the unit
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- NIH certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain patient-focused care in a high-demand setting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospital environment and provide care across a diverse patient population
