Senior Strategy Associate (Lending)

We are looking for a Senior Strategy Associate to join our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) team — someone who is ready to take real ownership, and make things happen across both strategy and day-to-day operations.
This role sits at the intersection of business growth and operational execution. You will work closely with partners and internal teams to deliver high-impact initiatives that drive growth, shape product direction, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Partnership Execution:
- Lead and support strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that materially impact business objectives; own timelines, milestones, and stakeholder (including Partner, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, etc.) alignment end-to-end.
- Assist in brainstorming and defining product position that adheres to the business objectives. Orchestrate other departments (product, marketing, risk, etc.) in strategy/ tactics planning to ensure the product position is well-understood and translated into actions.
- Assist in business modelling and synthesizing information into reliable deliveries, ready for presentation to senior executives and heads of departments.
Operation Excellence:
- Act as the central coordination point across internal teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, Tech) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations:
- Represent the business team to take prompt coordination action for arising product operation issues reported by the Customer Service team or Technical team.
- Work with the growth marketing team to cross-check and quality-check monthly promotional campaigns and communication tactics.
- Own and synthesize the monthly budget planning process; track actuals versus plan and calculate key cost efficiency metrics (CPU, CAC, CVR, ROI, etc.) to demonstrate spend effectiveness.
- Ensure all product features and initiatives remain consistent with business objectives and regulatory requirements throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
- Track business metrics and support in data cleaning and data analysis for bi-monthly/ monthly business reports.
- Support other tasks in working with the internal team and partners.
REQUIREMENT:
Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Strategy & Partnership, Project Management, or Growth - preferably in a high-growth technology or financial services environment.
- Prior exposure to fintech, e-wallets, BNPL, e-commerce, or consumer finance is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.

- Willing to take on a generalist role that has to involve in and take responsibility for all aspects of a business (operation, legal, partnership, product, MKT, etc.)
- Based in HCMC.
- Native Vietnamese with excellent English skills.
- Well-versed in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Resilient, humble, confident, and portrays a can-do attitude.
