Role Objective
Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across the entire contract lifecycle – from pre-signing to post-signing – to protect the company from losses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Signing Risk Identification
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to identify legal, commercial, financial, and tax risks
Flag high-risk clauses (liability, indemnity, penalty, payment terms, acceptance) and propose mitigation
2. Contract Negotiation
Lead or support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and minimize potential losses
Provide commercial and risk-based advice to business teams
3. Post-Signing Performance Management
Monitor contract execution to ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments
Identify performance risks (delays, disputes, payment issues) and escalate for resolution
Manage contract changes, claims, and amendments to avoid defaults or penalties
4. Loss Prevention & Process
Support dispute resolution with focus on non-litigation solutions
Implement contract management processes and risk tracking mechanisms
Key Requirements
1. 5+ years in contract management or commercial management
2. End-to-end contract experience (both pre-signing and post-signing)
3. Strong ability to identify contractual risks and propose mitigation
4. Experience with complex or non-standard commercial agreements
5. Cross-functional collaboration (Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations)
6. Fluent in English
7. Renewable energy or infrastructure industry background preferred
