Role Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities to create capacity, increase utilization, and improve new patient access.
- Establishes a cadence to meet with Specialty Leadership to review supply/demand and schedule rules optimization opportunities.
- Partners with Template Administrators, System Patient Access Center, and the Referral Management Team to plan and execute overall capacity strategy, ensuring alignment between demand forecasting, provider availability, and patient access goals.
Reports to: Manager-Patient Access Center
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
- Bachelor's Degree (Health Administration, Business, Analytics, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field) and/or relevant work experience is required.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience performing advanced analytical work related to capacity planning.
- Requires advanced proficiency in analytical tools and reporting platforms (e.g., MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) including data modeling and scenario analysis.
- Requires a proven ability to synthesize complex, multi-source data into insights that inform leadership decision-making.
- Requires experience partnering with leaders across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority.
- Requires working knowledge of healthcare operations, provider scheduling, access principles, and healthcare demand forecasting methodologies.
