Title: Project Manager (Construction/Infrastructure)

Compensation: approx. $27-33/hr

  • Conversion Salary: approx. $70k/yr max

Location: Philadelphia PA 19104

  • Main Hosp 'homebase' to start with network location site visits as needed; must have car and clean driving record to travel to other sites within network
  • Some non-reimbursed expenses may occur (tolls, mileage, parking)

Onsite Requirements: 1-2x/week onsite, WFH 3-4 days

Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree
  • Non-Tobacco user
  • 3yrs+ experience as a Project Manager in a healthcare and/or construction setting (commercial) (working on various projects such as Construction/New Site builds or Renovations, System or software upgrades, Quality Initiatives, or Workflow projects)
  • Familiarity with IT/IS infrastructure as it relates to new construction builds or renovations
  • Proven ability to coordinate, lead, and take clear and concise notes in stakeholder meetings


Plusses

  • Lean or Agile project management certification
  • Department of Health Experience (DSI or DAC Inspection process)
  • Experience with Radiation/Rad Onc
  • Hospital IT/IS experience


Day to Day

  • Coordinate and support capital, construction, and IS‑related projects for Radiation Oncology, including new cancer centers and imaging/treatment expansions
  • Attend project meetings (clinical, IS, facilities, vendors), take notes, track action items, and manage follow‑ups; senior leadership retains final decision‑making early on
  • Own delivery of defined project scope once handed off (timeline, coordination, execution)
  • Support new build and “fit‑out” projects over time (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, shielding, equipment installs)
  • Partner with IS teams on software and technology implementations tied to new treatment centers (imaging, proton/photon systems, Epic‑adjacent tools)
  • Act as a liaison who can communicate effectively across construction, clinical, and IT stakeholders—speaking each “language” at a functional level
  • Travel to sites as needed (hybrid role; onsite training at main hospital), coordinating across a large regional network
  • Start on lower‑complexity projects and ramp into larger, more complex initiatives as systems and environment knowledge grow
