The Permitting Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that projects comply with all necessary regulations and obtain the required permits. Responsibilities

Research and identify all required permits and approvals for each project. Prepare and submit permit applications and supporting documentation to relevant authorities. Liaise with local, state, and federal agencies to facilitate the permitting process. Track the status of permit applications and ensure timely follow-ups. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure all permit requirements are met. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and permitting processes. Resolve any issues or delays in the permitting process to keep projects on schedule. Maintain organized records of all permit applications, approvals, and correspondence. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using permitting and project management software. Previous experience in a similar role Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required). Familiarity with the process and requirements for obtaining permits in California. Experience navigating California state and local regulations related to permits is a plus.
