SHOP ASSISTANT
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative duties, assisting with paperwork, and providing general support to the Shop Manager. This position requires excellent organizational skills and ability to work under high pressure. This role is not limited to office work; candidates may go outside the shop bay area as part of their daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Shop Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Handle administrative tasks, including timesheets, documentation, and filing.
- Perform regular stock checks and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
- Organize and maintain the shop’s administrative records, including equipment maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order parts as needed.
- Assist with preparing reports and data entry related to shop operations.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environment, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Previous experience in parts inventory and management is a plus, but not required.
