Data Analyst (Power BI)

Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Mastery : Lead the development of high-quality, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau (and other BI tools as relevant). Ensure outputs are insightful, accurate , and aligned with evolving business needs.
• SQL-Driven Data Work : Master SQL to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets from multiple sources. Build efficient queries, optimize performance, and ensure reliability of data pipelines.
• Data Cleansing & Mapping : Perform data cleansing and mapping using business logic or keywords to enhance data quality and consistency across reporting environments.
• Automation & Scalability : Contribute to the automation and long-term scalability of reporting and analytics capabilities, recommending and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Ad Hoc Analysis : Provide on-demand reports and deep-dive analyses to answer specific business questions, particularly around sales, traffic, and performance metrics.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Account Management, Product, Tech) to gather requirements, design data solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Ac curacy & Quality Check: Validate dashboard accuracy and reliability; troubleshoot discrepancies when needed to ensure outputs remain trusted by stakeholders.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science , Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Postgraduate certification in analytics, digital transformation, or related specialization is a plus.
• EXPERIENCE
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data visualization roles.
• Proven expertise in building and leading dashboards/reports in fast-paced, client-facing, or business-driven environments.
• Familiarity with key performance metrics in areas such as sales, traffic, or other business performance data.

• Mastery of Power BI or Tableau, with a solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and working with large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for complementary analysis and quick checks.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
