Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Teacher located in Nashville, TN. The Lead Teacher will design and deliver high-quality, engaging, and rigorous lessons aligned with academic standards. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching and managing a classroom, tracking student progress, and providing individualized support to meet diverse learning needs. The Lead Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and engage with families to foster student success and a love of learning.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Lesson Planning and curriculum creation
- Experience and skills in Education and Teaching
- Strong Communication skills for engaging with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to provide effective Training and mentoring to students and colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Teaching certification or licensure in Tennessee (or pending certification)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable classroom environment
