What You’ll Get To Do
- Perform robotic programming (for robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, and Motoman), including the following
- Simulation programs
- Offline Programming
- Robotic Dress
- Communications set up example: Profinet, Industrial ENet and DNet
- Robotic safety setup
- Robotic Vision Guided Systems
- Develop and implement engineering best practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Design logic for simulation programs and establish communication with PLCs and auxiliary devices.
- Install tooling at customer plants (locally and internationally) and introduce programming enhancements to optimize robotic systems.
- Address application requirements for robotic functions, including washing, welding, joining, sealing, inspection, and material handling.
- Debug, test, and verify I/O signals and interference zones in the system.
- Provide thorough documentation of robotic procedures, including printed robot path programs and associated data fields.
- Train end-users in robotic operation, offering instruction, advice, and feedback to minimize downtime and expedite full productive capacity.
- Experience:
- In programming, installing, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical and electronic automated equipment.
- Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma in electrical, mechatronics, industrial automation or another similar field of study.
- Knowledge of vision‑guided robotic systems
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for on‑site installations and support
- Skills:
- Expertise in robotic communications protocols such as Profinet, Industrial Ethernet (ENet), and DeviceNet (DNet)
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining robot simulation programs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
