The Construction Project Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage subcontractors, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of all project phases.
Quality Control: Inspect work and materials to ensure quality standards are met and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols on site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control measures to prevent cost overruns.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the project team, clients, architects, and engineers, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that arise, making timely decisions to keep the project on track.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Project Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials; excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
