PROJECT MANAGER – EVENTS MANAGER

TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY

ROLE IS HYBRID ONSITE in Overland Park, Kansas (4 days in office)

$51 - $ 55/hour COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large mobile telecommunication company.

EVENTS MANAGER

The Sr Events Manager will oversee the event marketing process including strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of such events (may be internal or external). This role will be responsible for developing and executing events that support the company's brand, business, and communication objectives. The role will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead strategic development and execution of major events, 25%
• Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, 20%
• Lead and manage event agency, 15%
• Prepare and present strategies and programs to senior leadership, 5%
• Establish key performance indicators, measure, and deliver results, 5%
• Oversee event budget, 15%
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management, as needed, 15%

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Work Experience:

• 4-7 years’ experience in developing and executing major events.
• 4-7 years’ proven experience in creating and managing major high-profile events to drive business and brand growth.
• 4-7 years’ proven experience leading cross functional teams and agency partners.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duration: 5/6 to start, to run for 6 months, with chance to extend.

Daily Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.

Location: Role is mostly onsite in Bellevue, open to candidates in Overland Park, KS. Expected onsite 4 days a week. There may be some travel involved with this role.

Hardware: Client to provide.

Onboarding requirements: Client requires a background check before start. Client requires all candidates to be US citizens.
