Position Details
- Dates: June 3 – August 7
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (opener or closer)
- Provide care and supervision to children during summer camp activities and community outings
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote communication, behavioral, and social skills
- Support individuals in developing independence and daily living skills
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding participant progress
- Attend training and professional development opportunities
- Complete required documentation for program performance and grant reporting
- Safely transport participants using ARC vehicles for scheduled activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in high school or a vocational program)
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
