Sr. Product Manager (Platform/Core Systems)

Overview

An emerging technology platform in the financial services ecosystem is seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a core system that underpins all customer activity and integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments where customer demand, platform scalability, and long-term modernization must all be balanced simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Define and drive the vision for a core platform used across multiple product lines
• Balance competing priorities across customer needs, internal stakeholders, and long-term platform evolution

Roadmap & Prioritization

• Own roadmap sequencing across ongoing enhancements, new implementations, and strategic initiatives
• Maintain clarity and alignment across engineering, customer-facing teams, and leadership

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with engineering, delivery teams, and commercial stakeholders
• Serve as the central product voice across multiple internal groups

Customer Engagement

• Work directly with customers to understand needs and translate feedback into actionable improvements
• Advocate for scalable solutions while maintaining platform consistency

Platform Modernization

• Help guide evolution of legacy components into more scalable, modern architecture
• Introduce more efficient product development practices and tooling

AI-Enabled Product Development

• Utilize AI tools across discovery, documentation, and product workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve product development velocity through AI-assisted methods

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in enterprise SaaS or platform environments
• Strong track record managing complex, integration-heavy or configuration-heavy products
• Ability to prioritize effectively in high-demand, fast-scaling environments
• Experience working with legacy systems while driving modernization efforts
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on experience incorporating AI into product workflows is highly preferred
• Financial services or data-driven platforms experience is a plus
