  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

You will be the F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer - Level 2, and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs.

Desired Skills

  • Previous F-35 program experience.
  • Low Observable, Structures and Crew escape maintenance concept experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
