Field Service Technician

Fives DyAG Corp is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Saginaw, MI area.

We are looking for strong machine based knowledge and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and be able to present themselves in a professional manner, communicating confidently with customers and be a team player who works well with other employees. We need an individual who is self-motivated, organized and good at managing their time well. The position will primarily involve routine and emergency service, advanced troubleshooting, installation of machinery, and training of customers as well as some machine assembly work.

Requirements

• Up to 75% potential travel throughout North America and on rare occasions internationally. Most trips are 3-5 days in length.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
• Committed to quality work and detail-oriented excellence
• Strong decision making skills
• Prior millwright experience
• Able to start up and commission new machines and doing test runs with the customer
• A proven history of strong mechanical experience
• Ability to complete service and expense reports and manage administrative tasks
• Have the initiative and drive to grow within the company
• Capable of contributing new ideas, designs and methods
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• PLC, machine control, and ladder logic experience is ideal
• Communication savvy -computer, phone, and internet
• Able to perform engineering level analysis and employ advance troubleshooting techniques including redesign of machine components and programming changes.
• Valid Passport
• Valid driving license
• Associate's Degree or Trade School Certificate is preferred
• In addition to technical skills, you must be able to maintain a customer centric mindset and demonstrate a high level of motivation to sustain our status as an industry leader.
