SDR — Commercial Security & Low-Voltage Systems (DFW)
Location: Plano, TX (with DFW field exposure) Type: Full-time | Entry-level | No experience required
A real ground-floor opportunity in commercial sales.
Lifotek Systems is hiring a Sales Development Representative. This is the second sales hire at a company being built from cold start, working directly with the Senior Sales Rep, the General Manager, and the CEO. No bullpen. No shared lead list. No invisibility.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn this industry and grow with the company long term. Experience is not required. Drive, curiosity, and coachability are.
Training and Support
You will be trained, not thrown into the deep end. Specifically:
- Direct mentorship from the Senior Sales Rep on outreach, qualification, and objection handling
- Weekly 1:1s with the General Manager on pipeline strategy and personal development
- Hands-on industry education: site walks, jobsite visits, vendor meetings, trade shows
- A 60 to 90 day structured ramp before you take on independent activities
- Real feedback loops. We review what is working, fix what is not, and adjust together
You will not be alone. You will be learning every day.
Growth Path
Within 18 to 24 months, the right person grows from SDR into a full Sales Representative role, running their own deals, owning their own pipeline, and earning closer-level commission. That growth is earned, but the path is real and the company is committed to it.
What You Will Do
- Reach out to potential clients across DFW through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Qualify leads and book discovery meetings for the Senior Sales Rep
- Keep the CRM clean and pipeline reports current
- Attend industry events and trade shows alongside the senior rep
- Shadow client meetings, jobsite walks, and proposal reviews to build industry knowledge
- After ramp, run independent outreach to smaller prospects on your own
What We Are Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication. You can hold a phone conversation with a senior contractor and write a clean, error-free email
- Curiosity about how things work. You want to understand the technology, not just read a script
- Coachable. You take feedback and apply it
- Organized and self-directed. You can manage your own calendar and follow-up without being micromanaged
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Bachelor's degree (any major)
- Any sales, business development, customer service, or related work experience
- Exposure to construction, technology, AV, IT, or security industries
- Familiarity with CRM tools

We design, install, and service structured cabling, IP video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and AV integration for commercial clients. Backed by an international parent company with deep engineering capability, we are building our DFW operation from the ground up.
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. Full package details discussed during interview.
