Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will manage the entire commercial cycle, from defining product structures and payment flows to acquiring merchants and closing deals. This position is key in building and scaling a high-risk payments business within the iGaming and fintech sectors, focusing on EMI offerings for high-risk and medium-risk industries such as gaming, gambling, affiliate marketing, trading, and real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Define business and product requirements for an EMI offering serving high-risk merchants
- Build payment flows including IBANs, payouts, collections, FX, and crypto on/off-ramp solutions
- Structure merchant account models, settlement logic, pricing, fees, and operational limits
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard FI, PSP, banking, and crypto partners
- Independently manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing
- Actively acquire merchants within iGaming, gambling, affiliate, trading, and similar industries
- Act as the bridge between commercial, product, compliance, operations, and tech teams
- 3+ years of experience in payments, EMI, fintech, or high-risk acquiring
- Strong experience working with high-risk merchants such as iGaming, gambling, crypto
- Proven track record of independently closing deals and managing the full sales cycle
- Strong existing network and book of contacts within the industry
- Deep understanding of payment flows, merchant acquiring, partner onboarding, and settlement structures
- Ability to translate business needs into clear product and operational requirements
- Strong ownership mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and ability to work independently in fast-moving environments
