Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Manager is important to the company's success as they are a direct link between the sales team and our onsite hotel team. They work closely with the Business Development Managers (BDM) and the Inside Sales Department Manager to initiate all operational aspects for the sales and hotel team to ensure a seamless process. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for performing daily tasks that assist the sales team and other departments in alignment with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare revenue reports for sales team via Salesforce
- Collaborate with multiple departments to execute delivery of allocated product and updates to our sales team to present to travel agent accounts
- Support BDMs by providing timely responses to information requests, anticipating their needs and guiding them through company procedures
- Work together with the Field Sales Manager by coordinating logistics, arranging room reservations at our hotels, preparing product information, maintaining meeting calendars and assisting with preparations as needed
- Administrate travel agent yearly production reports for Override Contracts signed by valued travel agents
- Prepare and calculate Override Contract payments as well as create invoices to be sent to the Accounting team
- Collect and process all Accounting payment documents from the travel agents
- Work closely together with the Accounting Department to process and ensure all travel agent/agency payments are sent correctly and efficiently
- Reinforce the BDMs to increase travel agent revenue within their assigned territories by assisting in organizing and processing FAM experience trips, trade shows, consumer events, co-op advertisements, site inspections, day passes, special requests, prize letters and more
- Develop training programs and training schedule for new hires
- Prepare presentations with all program updates to present to BDMs, leaders and team
- Support RnR and Amplified Rewards programs
- Work together with Inside Sales Department Manager to review and change existing contracts and flyers with necessary updates
- Work closely with all hotel Sales Managers to request and create business blocks for major travel agency events and FAMs, plus request upgrades
- Communicate with hotel Sales Managers to ensure positive travel agent and client satisfaction when traveling to the hotels, and confirm site inspections for our travel agents
- Request and create travel agent reservations via Prize Letter stay redemptions, as requested
- Work with Tour Operator department for escalated issues relating reservations
- Process BDM quarterly payouts as per our incentive program
- Manage the Host Travel Agency account to ensure agents within the network are following correct processes and are maintained up to date with all products and services
- Work with the Marketing department to ensure websites and flyers maintain updated and to create new promotional flyers as requested by the sales team
- Travel to trade shows and company events to promote our hotels
- Work together with Field Sales Manager to coordinate internal sales meetings for our Field Sales team and other AIC Hotel Group departments
- Collect data to present to the VP of Sales and to the Field Sales team
