Data Analyst

Location: US (Foster City, CA) (should be ready to go to office 3 days/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and pulling data from primary and secondary sources
• Analysis of the source system to align with the target system requirement
• Stakeholder interactions for business requirement
• Performing "data wrangling" to fix or remove outliers, duplicates, and corrupted data to ensure high data quality.
• Interpret complex data sets, paying particular attention to trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Investigating data sets to summarize their main characteristics, often before formal modeling begins.
• Working with IT and engineering teams to improve data collection processes and system efficiency.
• Identifying new opportunities for process improvement or cost savings through data-backed recommendations.

Must Have

• Advanced SQL and experience with modern data stacks
• Basic hands on knowledge of Python
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate the business need into the technical writeups for the developers.
• Mastery of data analysis
• Good knowledge in Data Engineering concepts.
• Ability to translate technical foundation risks into clear business impact
