We are currently partnering with a fast‑growing and highly innovative medical technology company based in Switzerland. The organisation operates in a regulated MedTech environment and develops advanced implant‑related products that are commercialised internationally. They are looking for a Senior Engineer to take ownership of product development projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading technical development projects from concept through industrialisation, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Acting as a central technical interface across cross‑functional teams such as R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and external partners.
  • Driving hands‑on product and component development activities, including conceptual design, prototyping, testing strategies, and technical assessments.
  • Owning Design Control activities across the full product lifecycle in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating internal and external testing and validation activities to support product development.
  • Supporting root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality functions.
  • Contributing to risk management and regulatory documentation in a regulated product development environment.
  • Applying CAD skills alongside a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerance management.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • A technical degree in engineering, materials science, medical technology, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in product development within a regulated industry (MedTech experience preferred, implants a bonus).
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of Design Control, verification/validation, and technical documentation.
  • Hands‑on, structured, and solution‑oriented working style with a strong quality mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
