About The Job Treasury Officer

As a Treasury Officer you will ensure the accuracy and timely handling of Treasury risk processes in scope such as but not limited to Cash Management, Account Management, Credit Facilities, Foreign Exchange, Loans, and Banking Relations to meet financial commitments and requirements.

Contribute to ensuring that the Treasury team is adequate and functional.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position reports to the Sr. Treasury Manager, assisting in proper cash management, cash flow monitoring and forecasting and loans management.
  • Reviews / executes fund transfers, FX, investments, importation and other Treasury related transactions in the accounting system and with the banks without delay.
  • Ensures liquidity / funding to meet all obligations.
  • Supports the Finance team in bank requirements and bank reconciliation ensuring accurate and timely closing process and reporting.
  • Reviews / prepares documentary requirements and assists in liaising with the banks on account management, credit facilities and issue resolution. This includes ensuring the approval matrix is implemented.
  • Develops a strong professional relationship with key company officers and employees, banks, customers and suppliers in order to execute routine Treasury transactions.
  • Contributes to process improvements by adopting modern technology and current business practices. Actively participates in projects, software upgrades, testing and implementation.
  • Prepares, updates and maintains all cash and loans management monitoring files and reports; Ensures safekeeping of important corporate documents.
  • Ensures compliance with Internal Controls, Audit and Business Continuity Plan.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Finance or any business-related course
  • Minimum of 5 years in Treasury Operations, Finance and Accounting related experience
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant Treasury and Banking applications
  • Knowledge in Accounting Systems and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in Auditing Procedure, Financial Analysis and Account Management
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work onsite (Marikina City) from Mondays to Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM
