POSITION OVERVIEW
The Landscape Account Manager is responsible for the year-round management of a dedicated portfolio that includes landscape maintenance, snow removal services, and enhancement projects. This role serves as the main point of contact for clients while working closely with field teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency across all properties. You’ll be balancing client relationships, operations, and sales, making sure every property reflects the standards we stand behind as a company. The Landscape Account Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Account Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
· Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention
· Conduct regular site visits and walkthroughs to review quality and identify opportunities
· Proactively recommend enhancements and improvements to client properties
· Manage contract renewals with a target renewal rate of 90%+
Operations & Team Support
· Work closely with operations and field crews to ensure work is completed safely and to standard
· Assist with scheduling and coordination of maintenance and snow services
· Help guide crews to maintain design intent and overall property appearance
· Support team development by assisting in training and performance improvement
Sales & Growth
· Identify and close enhancement opportunities outside of base contracts
· Build and maintain an active sales pipeline
· Prepare proposals, pricing, and scopes of work
· Achieve enhancement revenue goals (target ~45% of base portfolio)
Financial & Administrative Oversight
· Manage the financial performance of your portfolio
· Track labor, job costs, and overall account profitability
· Ensure timely billing and accurate documentation
· Maintain CRM updates, proposals, and client records
QUALIFICATIONS
· 4+ years of experience in landscape account management or a similar role
· Experience working with field crews and coordinating operations
· Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, plant material, and turf care
· Comfortable with estimating, pricing, and CRM systems
· Highly organized with strong time management skills
· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
· Valid driver’s license required
· Flexibility to support snow operations during winter months
· Industry certifications (Landscape/Snow Professional) (Preferred).
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Combination of office, field, and on-site client work
· Ability to work outdoors in New England weather conditions
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
· Regular travel between client properties
COMPENSATION
· Base Salary starting at $80,000+, based on experience
