Job Description Your Mission: - Perform service work on transformers on-site at our customers’ locations - Install the latest high-voltage technology and maintain proven systems What We Offer: - Flexible work schedules with a flex-time account and 30 days of vacation in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement - Attractive, performance-based, and collectively agreed-upon compensation - Company benefits, company pension plan, bonuses, allowances, and subsidies - Extensive opportunities for personal and professional development in an international and forward-looking environment - Targeted training and skills development - Flexible and independent work - Work location in Kassel, Berlin, Essen, or Mönchengladbach Your Profile: - Completed vocational training in the electrical engineering field in accordance with DIN VDE 0105, e.g., as an electrician, electronics technician, or industrial mechatronics technician, or a master craftsman/woman or technician degree, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, primarily within Germany - Professional experience in customer service (preferred) - Interest in personal and professional development Strong sense of safety, quality, and responsibility - Initiative, determination, flexibility, excellent communication and teamwork skills - Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel) - Class B driver’s license - Good written and spoken German skills Your responsibilities: - Independently performing service work - on transformers and/or AIS & GIS switchgear - Installation, commissioning, inspections, and maintenance work, as well as troubleshooting - Repairs and spare parts fabrication at customer sites and/or in the service workshop - Disassembly and assembly of components - Performing rework and modifications - Professional and proper handling of work equipment, measuring instruments, and fixtures - Preparation of construction site documentation and test reports according to templates - Consistent implementation of UVV and EHS guidelines, manufacturing and work instructions, as well as quality regulations - Consistent adherence to GE Vernova’s Code of Ethics At GE Vernova, our employees are always striving to find the best solution.
