We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Manager to lead commercial activities across the infrastructure business in EMEA. This role focuses on managing key customer relationships and driving targeted new business within existing and prospective accounts.

The successful candidate will combine strong relationship management with technical understanding and commercial acumen, ensuring continuity across the sales pipeline while gradually expanding business development capability.

About The Role

The infrastructure sales team provides advanced measurement solutions for monitoring dams, mining operations, buildings, bridges, and other critical infrastructure. The Account Manager will act as the primary commercial owner of the region, ensuring pipeline continuity, customer engagement, and delivery against revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage existing Campbell Scientific customer accounts across the infrastructure portfolio in EMEA (Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East and Western Asia)
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships to ensure continuity, retention, and growth
  • Progress and close active opportunities within the existing pipeline
  • Develop new opportunities within existing accounts and adjacent markets
  • Ensure full ownership and visibility of the sales pipeline, including forecasting accuracy
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning technical solutions to business needs
  • Support market engagement through training, customer education, and localized sales collateral
  • Collaborate with global technical and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Prioritize high-value opportunities and maintain pipeline momentum and conversion
  • Travel up to 35% of the time for customer engagement and industry events
  • Occasional handling of equipment may be required as part of customer engagement and demonstrations

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of related post-secondary education in:
    • Engineering (Automation, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical)
    • Sciences (Geology, Geoscience)
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and monitoring, geotechnical, structural or technical sales (preferred)
  • Strong experience managing accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Ability to combine technical understanding with commercial execution
  • Proven ability to manage pipeline and deliver against revenue targets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders across regions

  • Fluent English, French and German required

Strong Assets Include

  • Familiarity with common infrastructure instrumentation (strain gauges, piezometers, vibrating wire sensors etc.), computer programming concepts and basic electrical circuits
  • Experience with electronic remote automated measurement systems, sensors, peripherals, and telecommunications equipment
  • Experience with Campbell Scientific dataloggers or other measurement devices including remote terminal units and programmable logic controllers
